    Students create a composition based on the idea of contrasting an object’s interior contents with its exterior shell.

    Each student explores value through a portion of an image. Towards the end of class the portions are combined to create one large image.

    Students will disassemble and reasemble a previously created drawing to create a new composition.

    Students explore scale and space through open and closed form contour drawings.

    Explore a theme in 20 drawings through 1’x1’ drawings of a theme of your choice, done from observation.

    Students draw a still life from multiple angles to create a panoramic rendering.

    e sense of touch, through exploring the variety of pressures applied to drawing tools.

    Introduction to contour drawings through the use of studio tools.
  • Combination
    Students create one large drawing through the combination of numerous source materials and drawing media.
  • Collaged Space
    Create a complex composition that references and re-configures macro and micro elements.
  • 5 Media, 5 Drawings, 5 Toys
    An end of semester exploration of 5 toys through 5 different drawing materials.
  • 2 Focal Points
    Students complete 2 drawings with varying focal points.
