Course Overview:
This course surveys the major developments in art and architecture from the Renaissance until the 21st century. Part two of the art history survey spans a period of extraordinary developments and changes in art. These changes include the nature and role of the artist, the reasons for making art and the roles gender, race, culture, religion and politics have played in the creation of works of art.
