Artist Presentations

Artist presentations will be scheduled throughout the semester.  Students are allowed to choose any artist from the Art21 website with the only stipulation being that they work primarily in the media in which the student is enrolled.  For instance, if you are in Two Dimensional Design, choose an artist who is a designer. No comic book artists.

This link has short videos about each of the artists on the Art21 website.

Artist presentations consist of two parts:
1. Create a blog entry that is at least 500 words in length and uses 7 high quality images. The blog entry will be posted on this website so that students may benefit from your research. Entries should be well researched, use correct grammar and cite appropriate sources. Do not plagiarize. Once the entry is written, it should be tagged and published. Tagging makes articles easier to find. If you are doing an entry on van Gogh, you may tag the entry Vincent, van Gogh, Impressionism, Dutch, painter.

2. Once your entry is complete and posted to the website, you will present your artist to the class. You may use your blog entry as your presentation, but please don’t read it to us.
