The Sound Suits came about from him waking through the park gathering sticks and when he made the costume and put it on he realized that when he moved around that the suit made sound and that is what started it.
i personally love to look at all the different suits and creations that Nick Cave create. I find them so interesting to look at and i enjoy watching all the videos on him !
He does have assistants that help but he does most of the work himself.
“I’ve had to come to the realization that what I do creatively no one else does,” he said. “I had to accept that as my life. And that’s a hard thing, the pressure of that.”(Theatlantic)
The people that wear the outfits are either dancers or people that understand the body movement as Nick Cave says. They are all different dancers some are hip pop some are ballerinas.
Nick Cave does not just create the sounds suits but he also performs in them too and does videos in them as well with the other dancers.

I’m studying the Bellagio “Soundsuit” in Las Vegas, NV. I’m having trouble finding dimensions for this work of art. Do you have any suggestions?
